TXT to Vote: Canadian Idol

Airborne made wireless history by launching one of the first North American inter-carrier text message campaigns for Canadian Idol. For the first time, mobile phone users were able to interact with a real-time TV show regardless of their carrier or time zone.

Canadians were able to vote for their favorite Canadian Idol performers simply by sending a text message from any messaging-capable phone. Additionally, Airborne put together a whole suite of Canadian Idol mobile entertainment features, including news, gossip, broadcast schedules and trivia games.
