A Big, Big Win (2005)
The year started on a high note as Airborne was chosen to help a major carrier launch its revolutionary video offering, adding to our already impressive technological and content areas of expertise.
But the best was yet to come.
In June of 2005, 85% of Airborne was acquired by Japanese mobile powerhouse Cybird in a deal worth over $90 million.
Investors and partners cheered. Naysayers and non-believers were finally put to rest.
Mobile media was here to stay. And so were we.
Success was sweet…but there was still an industry to keep building.
