Breakthrough! (2000-2001)
The combination of a top-notch technical team, a bright and forward-thinking creative group, an aggressive sales force and an infusion of venture capital helped the company—now branded Airborne Entertainment—open doors and establish a positive reputation.

The mobile content industry was embryonic at best. Most carriers were still without the proper billing models. Our investors’ patience was running very thin.
The company needed a break. A big one.
It came at a chance meeting in the corridors of an L.A. conference, where an executive from Disney challenged Airborne to come up with a WAP game for its new film, Monsters, Inc. The monochrome result was a reputation-establishing hit—not just with the carriers and the public, but with the precision-demanding Disney folks—and set Airborne on a fast track with some of the continent’s most prestigious and important media brands…
Like A&E, Maxim, Food Network and the very exacting HBO, all four of which made their mobile debuts thanks to Airborne (and most of which continue to work with us to this day!).
